UVII is a mobile-first engagement platform that enhances LMS tools with asynchronous video, surveys, and micro-assessments. Designed to meet students where they are, on their phones, it gives educators actionable feedback and helps institutions measure learning outcomes and retention in real time.

Legacy LMS platforms fail to engage students on mobile. UVII aimed to bridge that gap with a lightweight mobile companion that integrates seamlessly into existing workflows.
Educators often have no real data on whether students are engaging meaningfully. Existing analytics are too high-level or inaccessible.
UVII launched with support for both individual institutions and cross-campus multi-tenant setups. Students can post from anywhere, teachers can track engagement by course, and institutions can measure impact down to a single response.
Most courses saw 80%+ completion of micro-assessments within 24 hours of posting.
65% of content posts were created while offline and synced later—showing UVII worked where students needed it most.
We delivered UVII in multiple sprints, starting with the MVP for course-aligned posting, then layering in surveys, analytics, and eventually offline sync. Each phase focused on tight feedback loops with partner institutions and instructors.
Launched core React Native app with post feed, LMS-based login, and media uploads.
Added single and multiple-choice surveys, with instructor control and student feedback features.
Designed a robust analytics framework measuring time on task, responses, and retention over time.
Implemented FIFO-sync system for offline use cases in poor connectivity environments (e.g., subway, rural classrooms).
This wasn’t just an app; it was an infrastructure upgrade for student participation. By treating engagement and retention as first-class features, UVII moved from pilot to scalable product in under a year.
